There are three main steps in doing the exercise, and this is the following:

First is the weightlifting and this must be done correctly, determining your weight capacity should be noted, and workout routines should be done before the actual exercise to prevent over training which can result to muscle pains and even bruises, especially for beginners. Compound movements are also part of step one, which is given in four most effective muscle building exercises, and this is the bench press which will give you the chest workout, the dead-lifts which will provide the back workout, the squat which will enhance the leg workout and lastly is the military press which will provide you the shoulder workout.

Second step would be the diet; this is done by staying away from junk foods like cookies, candy, and cake, anything high in sugar, also soda, fast food, and fried foods. Take note that your goal would be to have muscles and become bigger but not to have fats. Eating the right food with the exact nutrients is much important to help you become stronger and have enough energy to do your daily routines and exercise, which include the foods, which are high in calories and proteins, fruits and vegetables.

Third step would be the actual daily workouts and exercises together with the diet that your body has to maintain. Enough rest after every workout and exercises is also part of this step as this will give a relaxing recovery for the muscles that would eventually be used again for another day.

It should always be remembered that an abrupt discontinuation of exercise would result to a heavy sense to the body and from time to time would lead to muscle pains. That is why entering this kind of exercise should also be done with patience and dedication. Desiring to stop the exercise would require another set of steps that gradually eliminate the used to do exercises

Body builders are established by three different categories. These categories are the beginner stage, intermediate stage and the advanced stage. Different muscle building routines are then provided for these three stages, since body builders differ in the way their body is used to the exercise or from how extensive they have been doing the exercise. The beginner stage is where the right workout program is necessary, since beginners are very prone to over training. Beginners are required with the right muscle building routines that will stress their physique just enough to stimulate enlargement and growth given that their bodies are not yet adapted to anaerobic exercises. The routine specified for the beginner stage is also provided to develop strength and balance for the new body builders. Beginners should focus on compound movements by using free weights. They should also concentrate on the major muscle group which includes the chest, legs, back and deltoids. An excellent routine that is advised for beginners must continue not more than 30 minutes per session. Individuals can consider themselves beginners if they have only been working out for the first time or not more than six months.

In the intermediate stage, by this time you can be considered as part of this group if you have been successfully working out with the least consistency of 6 to 12 months. Body builder in this stage has now mastered the basic aerobics and has been applying the proper structure for a constant time of 16 to 24 weeks. The muscle building routine of intermediate body builder consists of adding in an amount of isolation movements to stimulate their muscle fibers. This means that they would add more weight, set, exercises and include by way of the machines who can help stimulate their muscles more and effectively. However, an intermediate body builder in addition is advised to limit its training by not more than 45 minutes per session and four days in a week, which is also done to prevent over training.

In the advanced stage, body builders are normally adding more power on their muscle building routines. 2 to three compound movements and 2 to three isolation movements are practiced by these body builders to maintain the fitness of their bodies. Because these body builders are advanced, it means that working out for 4 to five days per week is sufficient. They are now doing more sets, more exercises and using heavier machines but then are also advised to a counterpart with the same amount of rest for their muscles to recover.

Whichever stage you may belong, always keep in mind that there are proper procedures that should be followed when entering body building activities. Muscle building routines are provided to be considered and applied for every stage in order to be aware of the consequences when an abrupt exercise is done to the body. Following the right routine is not that difficult, it is provided in different programs present in gyms and from instructors for a benefit and a safety.
